Refresher HathaYoga (Tues 6pm)
Build your practice further. A 5 week course starting Tues 25th Feb. Now that we have covered some of the poses we will explore more standing series, back bends, folds and twists along side mixing in a little bit of strength work.
Exploring breathing techniques to calm, soothe, energise and build heat. Plus mudras (hand gestures) and what they mean along side the 5 different energetic layers of the body (KOSHAS). Plus the spinal Chakras.
All designed to support your continued and consistent practice in a wholesome way. Plus weaving in scientific findings and benefits supporting this ancient knowledge. A great opportunity to deepen your yoga journey at any stage.
5 weeks course: £70
Sculpt & Flow (Wed 10.30am - course only & Fri 10.30am drop in/block pass option)
A 7 week (7 class) course designed to sculpt and tone upper and lower body, using weights to strengthen and refine. Each class will combine a hybrid style of yoga and strength training to keep flexibe & to reactivate “switched off” muscles. Using classic principles of yoga, combined with the use of light weights, expect to gain all the benefits helping you achieve a lean, sculpted physique. Suitable for all fitness levels, this class will leave you feeling stronger, toned, and leaner by increasing your metabolism. Plus improving posture, stamina and endurance. A great way to support your body at any age but especially important for preventative care as our bodies naturally age.
Hatha Flow (Sat 10am)
A blended yoga class, comprising of more flowing sequences of the Vinyasa style, with attention to individual poses, alignment, and mindfulness, to create an invigorating blend that builds strength, length and heat in the body as well as calmness and stillness in the mind. Always combining movement, mindfulness and breathwork. Suitable for those with yoga experience.
Slow Flow
(Tues 10am & Wed 6pm)
A gentle, slow, restorative, practice often incorporating yin yoga elements. Soothing the body, mind and spirit. Often a mat based practice using props, bolsters, and straps to support the body to gently open and release. Always combining movement, mindfulness and breathwork. Suitable for all levels, beginners and experienced yogis.
Forrest Yoga (Mon 10.30am)
An inspiring, grounding and deeply healing yoga practise. Guided by the breath, this intelligent sequencing will build your flexibility and strength while relieving tension. Expect to; work with postures unique to the style, breathe deep, hold the poses for a bit longer release stress and connect to yourself with compassion and interest. Hatha flow for core, glute & midsection (Thurs 6pm)
A blended hatha yoga class with postures particularly focused on building a toned and strong centre. Cultivating strength in deeper abdominals and glutes. Including muscles such as your pelvic floor, abdominals, glutes, hips, back muscles, and diaphragm (the muscle that controls breathing). Together working with the spine to create stability in your midsection. But it’s not all about strong abs and glutes - these poses massage and stimulate your internal organs, supporting digestion, metabolism, boosting energy and stimulating your immune system.
Warm up, work out, breathe, stretch it out. You won’t regret it!
